Carlow Town Energy Master Plan

The Carlow Town Energy Master Plan sets out a community-wide roadmap to reduce energy use, cut carbon emissions, and explore renewable energy opportunities for the town.

The plan was developed in 2023–2024 with support from the SEAI Sustainable Energy Communities Programme and local partners.

What the Plan Does

• Most energy use is from homes

• Transport and non-residential buildings also contribute significant
